This delicious ginger juice recipe is simple to make, and it’s so refreshing. It’s tasty, spicy, and fragrant.
INGREDIENTS
- Ginger root – 1 & 1/2 cups, chopped
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Lime – 3
- Water – 7 -8 cups
- Ice
PROCEDURE
Step 1
Peel the ginger root.
Step 2
Chop into small pieces and transfer into a blender.
Step 3
Add about 2 cups of water.
Step 4
Blend until smooth.
Step 5
Strain the juice into a pitcher. Use the back of a spoon or spatula to press down on the pulp, so as to get as much juice as possible.
Step 6
Add the sugar. You can use more or less. You could use whatever sweetener you like.
Step 7
Add the juice from the limes.
Step 8
Stir to combine.
Step 9
Top up with ice and cold water. The quantity of water needed is up to you. I used about 7 and 1/2 cups of water in total, including the 2 cups for blending.
Taste the juice and dilute if necessary.
Note: The juice becomes more potent the longer it sits. Just stir and dilute with more water if necessary or serve over ice.
Step 10
Serve and enjoy.
