Add the onion powder to a sizeable bowl.
Step 2
Add the garlic powder, black pepper, thyme, curry powder, chilli powder, all-purpose seasoning and some salt to taste.
Step 3
Mix to combine.
Step 4
Add the milk. If you have buttermilk, use that instead.
Step 5
Add the white vinegar and mix to combine. If using buttermilk, skip the vinegar.
Step 6
Now drop in the chicken drumsticks. You can use any chicken part that you like.
Step 7
Mix well. Make sure the chicken is covered in milk.
Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 8
After the chicken has been marinating for at least 4 hours, heat up some oil for deep frying.
Add the all-purpose flour into a bowl.

Gently tap off the excess.
Step 15
Drop chicken in hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pot. I fry 4 pieces at a time.
Step 16
Move the chicken around every 2 minutes to ensure it cooks through.
If the oil is becoming too hot, you could turn off the heat for about a minute or 2 and turn it back on.
Fry the chicken drumsticks for a total of 14 minutes.
16 to 17 minutes for chicken laps.
Step 17
Take out the fried chicken and drain on paper towels. Repeat the process for the remaining chicken pieces.
