Yesterday, my daughters wanted a quick breakfast, and I thought of what I could possibly do that is quick but delicious. I decided that pan-fried would do the trick. I think you should try out this recipe. It is so flavourful, delicious, and very easy to prepare. It’s the perfect breakfast meal for when you need something yummy and hearty. You would definitely love it!
INGREDIENTS
- Irish potato – 4 to 5 medium ones
- Sausages – 2 to 4
- Yellow bell pepper – half
- Green bell pepper – half
- Onion – 1 small
- Pepper – to taste
- Salt – to taste
- Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- Cooking oil – 2 tablespoons
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
PROCEDURE
Step 1
Peel and chop the potatoes
Step 2
Transfer into a pot of water and cook until it’s soft but not mushy.
Step 3
Slice the sausages. You can use your favourite kind. You can also use bacon.
Step 4
Finely chop the yellow bell pepper.
Step 5
And the green bell pepper.
Step 6
Finely chop the onion, pepper and grate two garlic cloves. Set aside.
Step 7
Drain the potaotes and set aside.
Step 8
Heat up 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan.
Step 9
Add the potatoes in a single layer.
Step 10
Fry until crisp.
Step 11
Move the potatoes aside and add the onion and garlic.
Step 12
Fry until onion is softened and add some salt to taste.
Step 13
Add the butter.
Step 14
Set the potatoes aside again and fry the sausages.
Step 15
Mix well to combine, and add the peppers. Optionally, you could throw in some fresh or dried herbs.
Step 16
Fry for about 1 minute and turn off the heat.
Step 17
Serve.
