This is about the easiest and delicious bread you’ll ever make. It’s soft, sweet, and pliable, perfect for wraps, curries, or just eat as is.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup melted butter or oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
PROCEDURE

Measure out your ingredients

Mix together the flour, salt and baking powder. Make a well in the center and pour in the melted butter or oil and warm water and mix with a wooden spoon till it comes together.
Step 3
Sprinkle your work surface with a bit of flour, turn out dough and knead for about 1 minute. Return dough to bowl, cover and allow to rest for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle your work surface with a little bit of flour and cut dough into 12 to 16 parts.

…and shape into balls.

Put a clean and dry pan over medium heat, flatten one ball of dough and roll out as thin as you can, (it will puff up while cooking)
Step 7
Place roll out dough in the pan and cook for 1 minute.
Step 8
You will notice some air bubbles, flip and cook for another minute.
Step 9
Take out the bread and wrap in a clean kitchen napkin, the steam will help soften the outer crust and make it pliable. Repeat process till all has been cooked.
