Celery Cucumber Juice

This nourishing beverage is filled with essential vitamins and minerals. Have a cup of it in the morning before breakfast or at any time of the day and your body would thank you for it.

If you feel you don’t like the taste of the leaves, you could use only the stalk, or add in some sliced cucumbers, apple or lemon, or lime juice.

INGREDIENTS

  • Celery – 1 bunch
  • Cucumber – 1 small
  • Water – 1/4 to 1/2 cup

PROCEDURE

Step 1

Cut off the ends of the celery, rinse well under running water, chop and transfer into a blender.

If you can’t stand the taste of the celery leaves, and you don’t want to add anything else, you can use only the stalk.

Step 2

Slice the cucumber and transfer into the blender.

Step 3

Add the water. About 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup.

Step 4

Blend until smooth.

Step 5

Strain the juice through a sieve to remove the pulp. Use the back of a spoon to press down on the pulp to get as much juice as possible.

Step 6

Drink immediately or transfer to the fridge covered, and drink within two days.
