INGREDIENTS

DOUGH

  • All-purpose flour – 4 1/2 cups
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Butter or margarine – 1 cup, cold
  • Water – 1 cup, cold

FILLING

  • Beef sausage meat – 500 grams
  • Paprika – 1/2 to 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon

PROCEDURE

STEP 1

Pour the flour into a sizeable bowl, add the baking powder and salt. Mix to combine.

Add the butter or margarine

Using the tips of your fingers, rub the butter into the flour until the mixture looks like large bread crumbs.

Add the water and mix gently until the dough comes together.

Divide the dough into two, cover, and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
