This bread boasts of a delightful sweetness, it has a soft and, fluffy texture. It’s incredibly versatile and can be enjoyed in so many ways, it is perfect with a spread of butter or jam, as a delicious accompaniment to your meal, or simply on its own as a delightful snack
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup – Lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons – Dry yeast
- 1/2 cup – Sugar
- 8 1/4 cups – Flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons – Salt
- 2 – Eggs
- 2 cups – Lukewarm milk
- 1/2 cup – Butter, melted and cooled
PROCEDURE
Step 1
Pour the lukewarm water, yeast and one teaspoon of sugar into the bowl of your stand mixer. Mix to combine, then set aside to bloom for 5 to 10 minutes

Next, add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl

Knead for 8 to 15 minutes or until the dough is smooth and stretchy. This process is essential for developing the gluten, which will give your finished product a much better texture

Shape into a ball, and transfer into an oiled bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and kitchen towel, and let it rise for 1 hour 30 minutes, or until it has visibly doubled in volume
Step 5
Uncover the dough, and punch it down to remove air bubbles
Divide the dough into 20 to 24 pieces
Shape the doughs into uniform balls, and transfer into a buttered pan or a pan that has been lined. I used two pans
Step 6
Cover the pans loosely, and set aside to rise for 1 hour to rise in a warm spot
Step 7
Towards the end of the rising period, please preheat your oven to 180°C. Uncover the pan and bake it in the oven for about 25 minutes
Step 8
Remove the rolls from the pan and transfer unto a wire rack to cool completely
Step 9
You can brush the top of the rolls with melted butter for a bit of shine and flavor. This simple step adds a nice finish and enhances the overall taste
