Method
- Squeeze the juice of one whole lemon
- Wash and slice about half a lemon for garnishing
- Transfer rinsed mint leaves and sugar into a pitcher. You could also use a mixture of honey and sugar
- Gently mash the mint with the sugar to release its fragrance, then add lemon juice and mix thoroughly to combine
- Add the ice and ice cold water, and mix well to combine. You want the sugar to be completely dissolved
- Add a few slices of lemon for extra flavour and colour
- Serve and enjoy
